Job Details

Our client is a UK leader in its sector, supplying a variety of ambient snacking and food products to the UK and international markets. They supply premium and high quality products direct to the retailers, and supply their products as an ingredient / food component in further processing in both the UK and globally. The business can demonstrate an enviable supply chain with a focus on product traceability and speed to factory, and this gives them an USP which consistently wins them new business and opportunities. The trend of healthy eating and the health conscious shopper means this organisation is poised to continue its growth and success, and they have identified a number of opportunities with which to capitalise on.

To ensure these plans are executed and the business realises its ambitious growth plan, they are looking to appoint a Sales Manager for the International Markets. This role will take full responsibility for the existing international customers, whilst also identifying opportunities for growth, building a plan for each market including product and distribution and playing a key role in the delivery of the growth strategy.

You will be an experienced operator in the food sector, with a track record of developing business and relationships internationally. You will be passionate about the sector, and be able to communicate effectively with customers to ensure you build robust relationships. The right person will understand the current trends in the market, and have the ability to analyse data and identify opportunities to growth, and most importantly execute these plans. Knowledge or experience of selling food products into food manufacturers and through distributors would be advantageous, but most importantly you will have the attitude and capability to work autonomously and thrive in a past paced, ambitious and entrepreneurial environment.
