National Account Manager – On Trade

Freixenet Group is an established and successful wine business, present in over 140 countries and owner of the world's most powerful sparkling wine brand.

While the production of Spanish Cava remains at its core, the Freixenet Group is also involved in the production of high quality still and sparkling wines in other prominent winemaking regions around the world including Coonawarra in Australia, Mendoza in Argentina, Carneros in the USA, France and Spain. As a successful growing business and through continued acquisitions we are able to offer our customers an impressive range of contemporary and premium branded wines.

The UK On-Trade remains an important strategic channel of opportunity and growth.To drive sales, we want to forge closer relationships with our major wholesale customers and also grow business with key on-trade retail national accounts.This will be through a mix of developing new listings and incremental business with existing customers and also importantly prospecting and winning new business.

You will be guided and mentored by our National Account Controller - we have exciting plans and are looking for more big wins.There is so much to do so it is important that you can prioritise, work tenaciously and deliver results.

We are looking for a bright, ambitious individual with drive and passion.You must have On-Trade sales experience, exposure to leading brands and experience of working with key wholesalers and retail accounts. Whilst some wine industry experience is ideal more important is an interest in wine and a willingness to learn.You have impressive negotiating skills and an ability to create persuasive proposals and presentations. As part of a growing business you will be given autonomy and an opportunity to take responsibility and progress your career.
