Customer Marketing Analyst - Award Winning Food Manufacturer

Our client is a very successful award winning food manufacturer, they supply high quality food products to the UK's major retailers and foodservice establishments. They are very much a leader in their product category and they have a terrific reputation in the industry.

The business is looking to recruit a Customer Marketing Analyst.

The role

• Conduct competitor analysis through weekly store visits & market research, tracking retail price movements; promotional activity; and new product launches across the trade.

  Analyse and interpret sales and market data & in doing so understand consumer shopping behaviour / trends.

• Generate Weekly/Monthly Reports and issue to Category teams & wider business:
  • Sales Trends & insights
  • Highlighting anomalies and reasons for discrepancies
  • Promotional uplifts versus forecasts / Promotional analysis
  • NPD performance tracking

• Deliver category insights and make recommendations for category strategies which deliver solutions & growth for our customers

The candidate

• Experience using data provider software such as Kantar, AC Nielsen, and retailer specific EPOS data providers
• Confident, articulate, numerate, analytical, literate and capable of producing highly accurate reports, presentations and qualified insight.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive and flexible approach
• Experience of presenting to and working with retail customers

What’s On offer:

£25,000-35,000 Depending on experience + Package
