An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of the UK’s pioneers of craft brewing. Having been in the industry for a number of decades they have a fantastic core range of premium ales. Their products have won numerous awards from the likes of CAMRA and the World Beer Awards and are well distributed not only across the UK but internationally as well. Due to the impressive growth they are experiencing they now require an experienced sales professional than can help to further facilitate this in both the UK and beyond.

The title of the role will largely depend on the level of the candidate joining the business but could range from Sales Manager to Director level. Working closely with the Managing Director and existing sales force you will be tasked with taking on a portfolio of National Off-Trade accounts as well as those in International markets. The key remit will be to pro-actively drive growth through this account base, taking full P&L responsibility, whilst identifying further business opportunities with a particular focus on export business.

To be considered for this opportunity you must have experience working with national customers within the drinks industry at head office level. Those with experience in the brewing industry will be preferred but candidates with a background in premium wine or spirits will also be considered. It is essential that you have contacts you can call upon with the larger UK retail operations as well as international markets and have a record of developing new business within these channels. It will be a very autonomous role focussed on sales growth so an entrepreneurial spirit coupled with a get up and go attitude is a must.
