Job Details
A producer of prestige branded and own label foods requires a Sales Account Manager to join their expanding London Sales division. The business is experiencing continued success across the UK and this role would suit an individual that is keen to take the next step in their Sales career.
The Opportunity
Upon joining the business, you will work closely with the Head of Sales to develop your understanding of the marketplace and their full product range. They will help you to understand your territory and the key role you will play in their three year growth strategy.
With support from your colleagues, your primary objective will be to take on a number of the business' independent / foodservice accounts across the London and the South East area. Each account has established contacts in place and it will be your responsibility to visit each business to strengthen the relationships. This will include helping your customers to display product ranges optimally, updating on New Product Development, and introducing upcoming promotions.
You will also be tasked with developing new business across your territory. This will involve arranging face to face meetings with potential customers to introduce your brand / products and attending network events / conferences to act as an ambassador for the brand.
