Our client is a market leading international ambient food manufacturing organisation, with a fantastic portfolio of brands. They have a strong focus on innovation, and can demonstrate consistently bringing new products to market to drive growth. The business has performed well in recent years, and is continuing to grow, supported by its excellent financial positon. A number of high profile hires have joined the organisation in recent times. This demonstrates the ambition of the organisation to continue to attract the best talent, particularly talent classically trained in global blue chip organisations but now looking for a more dynamic environment in a smaller and agile business in which they can make a big and instant impact.

Key to driving the business through its brands is the need to recruit talented marketers. As such, the organisation is looking to attract a Senior Brand Manager or Marketing Manager to lead all marketing activities for a key brand and product portfolio in the UK and Europe. You will be a passionate and consumer focussed marketer, capable of building robust brand plans and building the consumer engagement through a varied marketing strategy. The role would involve the leadership of a team of two, and require this individual to play a key role in managing internal and external stakeholders across the business, whilst working collaboratively with the wider marketing and commercial function.

You will be at Senior Brand Manager or Marketing Manager level, and have had full accountability for the performance of a brand or portfolio of brands including NPD. You will have a full appreciation of the marketing mix, and understand how to build brands. Additionally, you will have the ability to use robust consume insight to build brand communication plans, and identify and execute innovation opportunities supported by this insight. Marketers with an international or regional background can expect to be given a wide reaching role involving international travel to build on the international success of the organisation. Cultural fit is key, and those individuals classically trained in blue chip working on market leading brands have enjoyed considerable success in this business.
