Our brand new client has a great story to tell; fun and funky foodservice business enjoying growth from £0 to c.£50 million in 9 years, selling awesome food sourced from around the world. Mega-sized ribs, succulent pulled pork, cheesecakes that make you drool, lip smacking peppers and sliced fried green tomatoes are just a fraction of their product range. Appetisers, meats, ambient grocery, bakery and desserts; they supply branded, own label and bespoke products to the Foodservice End User customers and wholesale accounts across the UK.
As an SME they are up and coming, but punching well above their weight and rapidly developing a great name for outstanding products and innovation, excellent customer service and consequently need to add to their existing sales team to continue this growth curve.
As a Regional Account Manager you will be given a portfolio of existing Regional Wholesalers and Buying Groups, and tasked with driving growth and profitability through introducing new brands and innovation. You need to be a “foodie”, you will be the kind of person who gets excited about "client cook-offs" and want to talk new product development with your customers. Food will be a big part of your life and this role will tap into that love and passion - and you'll get paid for it!!
Home based, this is a fantastic opportunity for an innovative and entrepreneurial Territory Manager/Regional Account Manager to join a growing business and spread their commercial wings in a highly flexible, creative environment. They need someone who can develop outstanding relationships with buyers and NPD chefs, someone with a finger firmly on the pulse of the food market place in terms of new trends and innovation, you will be able to recommend and create exciting new menu opportunities and products with customers and your suppliers.
