To lead and deliver the juice innovation projects that will deliver against the category imperatives of incrementally and profitability to drive category growth for juice across Western Europe & South Africa (WESA).

In particular your primary accountabilities will be as follows:

1) Support the Marketing Manager in building the premium portfolio and premium innovation pipeline in the juice category
  • analyse consumer and category trends to feed into annual and long term plans
  • track and report performances of competitors innovations
  • evaluate the potential of lifting and shifting the current PepsiCo portfolio across regions
  • maintain country calendars to enable prioritisation of innovations



2) Support the Marketing Manager in the execution of the premium juice innovations, specifically:
  • concept writing
  • consumer validation through research
  • product brief development
  • P&L inputs and understanding of impact
  • cross functional co-ordination - supply chain, finance, regulatory
  • roll out innovations across countries


3) Track, monitor and report on WESA innovation budget




What we're looking for…





Qualifications:
Graduate calibre or equivalent
computer literate, particularly Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
Basic business understanding and evidence of commercial awareness
good communicator with strong verbal and numerical reasoning skills (able to draw conclusions from data)

Knowledge:
Ideally knowledge/experience in a food and drink category (although not mandatory)
Experience of working in a multi country/matrix environment key to this role
Proven first stage of marketing or innovation experience key (either permanent role or placement)

Skills:
1) First experience in innovation to have covered at least part of the following list:
  • uncovering insights that drive strategies for growth
  • idea pipeline development
  • full mix development: concept, product, pack, pricing strategy and go to market
  • managing internal gate processes


2) Strong project management skills:
  • excellent time management and organisation skills - ability to juggle competing priorities
  • precise and reliable
