A truly exciting opportunity working for a national and soon to be global FMCG company based in Central London.

Over the next decade, the global consumer goods industry will be transformed as FMCG brands use digital platforms to build more direct relationships with their consumers and reward their loyalty in new ways. This is your chance to be part of a company who is leading that change. As an Account Director, you will be solely responsible for managing relationships with the company’s largest customers as well as working internally, supporting the MD on commercial strategy and tapping into international markets.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing and developing the majority of the companies Tier 1, multinational clients in the UK.
  • Taking responsibility for revenue and client satisfaction targets for your accounts.
  • Building strong and trusted relationships with key stakeholders in areas such as Marketing, Brand Management, Consumer Insight & Sales.
  • Managing the day-to-day liaison and co-ordination of servicing for your key client contacts.
  • Interacting successfully with colleagues in our operations and insights teams to deliver campaigns flawlessly and deliver compelling presentations to your clients.
  • Reporting to the MD, you will also share responsibility for leading, organising and coaching a broader commercial team of 3 account managers in delivering their own commercial objectives.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Extensive experience of the FMCG marketplace
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels
  • Strong sales acumen with a proven track record of selling into the FMCG sector
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • To be an enthusiastic team player, capable of working proactively.
