Senior CMI / Insights Manager, Uxbridge
 
This is a unique opportunity to join one of the most recognisable brands in the world. Reporting in to the Associate Director of Shopper and Market Insights GB, you will manage a team of two and be responsible for insights that will drive Coca Cola Enterprises' customer and channel strategies.

Reporting in to the Associate Director, Shopper and Market Insights GB, as the Shopper & Market Insights Senior Manager, you will lead and facilitate the development of clear, compelling and fact-based Shopper/Customer/Channel insights that will drive Coca Cola Enterprises (CCE) Customer/Channel strategies.
 
The role will cover the coordination and the analysis of syndicated data, Customer/Competitor and Channel trends as well as the management of ad-hoc qual/quant shopper research.
 
What to expect
 
You will be responsible for:

  • Developing Shopper Insights stories based on the integration of multiple continuous (Nielsen, Kantar, CGA, IGD etc) and a-hoc (Shopper research) data sources that drive Customer/Grocery, Out of Home, Digital Channels initiatives, and enable internalization among key decision makers/project teams.
  • Driving the synthesis of insights and present actionable insight highlights during key meetings/momentums (Annual Business Plans, Leadership Team meetings) to move towards a more Shopper centric culture.
  • Acting as an ambassador, promoting and leveraging current and emerging Shopper /Competitors/Customer trends.
  • Driving the identification and the activation of compelling insights to the Marketing/Shopper Marketing/Category Planning and Revenue Growth Management team, using a Brand/Pack/Price/Promo/Assortment lens.
  • Effectively plan and build strong relationships with our agency and supplier partners.
  • Being a key interface with CCE EU Strategy & Insights team, as well as the Coca-Cola Company Knowledge & Insights Team, ensuring sharing and cross-pollination of relevant shopper insights and consistency of data suppliers and Shopper Research approaches.
  • Leading, coaching and mentoring 1 to 2 Shopper & Market Insights managers

Qualifications
 
What we expect of you

 
We are looking for a consultant who has experience of working within industry, ideally in a commercial finance / insight role in FMCG / retail or similar industry
 
You will demonstrate strong analytical skills with the ability to simply communicate key findings/insights with previous experience of managing ad-hoc Shopper research initiatives and communicating your learning effectively. 
 
You will have the ability to take Shopper learning beyond data reporting to insight generation, identifying the so what behind the why and proven collaboration abilities, strategic thinking and leadership skills. 
 
You must demonstrate both analytical and creative thinking abilities, have strong consulting skills and have previous experience negotiating contracts with agencies and managing a research budget.

You will be confident working alone when needed, with strong points of view and presents facts/insights in challenging situations with professional manner. Previous People management preferred although not essential.
