As part of our ambitious three year strategic plan, we are investing in a number of commercial activities to support us in achieving our growth expectations.  One of which is the development of a Ramsden International private label brand.

Your Role

As part of this exciting and brand new opportunity we are looking to recruit an experienced Private Label Development Manager to lead in the development, execution, marketing and strategic management of a Ramsden International private label brand in order to contribute to the overall business growth strategy of the Company.

As Private Label Development Manager, you will be involved from day one in grasping the vision of the Company to create a compelling business case, including undertaking research with customers in selected international markets to understand needs to support with the formulation and anticipating sales growth from this fantastic commercial opportunity.  Your role will include managing the end to end NPD of the Private Label range, including recipe and packaging development; liaising with relevant external stakeholders such as suppliers, kitchens and laboratories; developing marketing and promotional activity; quality control aspects and attending a number of trade shows to launch the range. As Private Label Development Manager you will work collaboratively across a number of functions to ensure the success of a key and exciting commercial project for the Company.

The new role of Private Label Development Manager will be demanding and requires someone who can hit the ground running from day one with great tenacity, energy, drive and influencing skills.  You will have a meticulous attention to detail, commercially astute, be a self-starter and able to manage your own expectations in what is seen as a slow burn project. You will have great interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships quickly, and also flex your style to fit the audience, driven by results and confident in your own ability.  You will have great agility, cultural understanding and excellent time and project management skills. This role is a great opportunity to develop and catapult your career in NPD within an international business arena.

Ideally degree educated in a business / marketing discipline. Having operated within a food Private Label development role where you have managed all aspects from end to end for a number of years is essential.  Exposure of operating in NPD for export markets is desirable.
