The Role: The new Area Sales Manager will be working with independent and strategic key golf retailers, promoting the iconic sunglasses as well as branded golf apparel and kit. You will be speaking to store managers and owners, getting involved with range reviews, merchandising and driving performances as well as some instore training. With a policy of promoting from within, this is a first-class organisation in which to develop your career.



The Company: Started by James Jannard in 1975 Oakley has grown to become an iconic brand which designs, develops and manufactures sports performance equipment and lifestyle pieces including sunglasses, ski/snowboard goggles, watches, apparel, backpacks, shoes, optical frames, and other accessories. Entering the golf market in 1993 this well-known business has a portfolio of performance sunglasses, footwear and apparel which is the envy of their competitors. In addition they invest heavily in training and developing their sales staff whilst offering excellent opportunities to progress through the business. Now seeking a new Area Sales Manager in the North & Scotland to join their sales team.



For this Area Sales Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

 

  • Field sales experience into independent and strategic key retailers
  • Structured and articulate candidates with superb relationship building skills
  • Passion for golf or a sporting outdoor lifestyle
