The Role: The new business development manager will be selling through retail showrooms and plumbers merchants; you will be speaking to all levels from counter staff up to business owner. This role is largely involved with existing customers and you will be tasked with driving sales, improving product lines held and increasing revenue share.
The Company: With nearly a century of tradition behind them and a very strongly respected brand name, our client is a leading manufacturer in the kitchens and bathrooms industry. They now seek a new Business Development Manager to cover the North East of England, to sell their quality range of premium bathroom products including fittings, sanitary ware, furniture and showers.
Your Career: Full product training is on offer and long-term sales career prospects here are very good indeed due to the size of the group.
For this Business Development Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Field sales experience
- You will ideally have a track record of selling in the construction industry
- Commercially aware candidates with a strong ability to increase sales are sought
- You will be driven, tenacious and keen to progress
