A leading distributor of high quality, premium food products has developed an opportunity within their team for a Foodservice Controller. This family owned business are now in their 3^rd generation of ownership have had huge success over the years. They distribute some of the UK’s best known brands and supply all the top 6 retailers as well as having a large foodservice division which is currently worth £20m. They have an exciting strategy in place to double their turnover in the next 4 years and as the fastest growing division in the business, foodservice really is at the heart of their plans.

Reporting into the Sales Director, you will manage a team of two National Account Managers whilst directly managing some of the largest wholesale and end user accounts yourself. You will be tasked with further developing the foodservice division with a strong focus on the end user channel, where key customers include some of the largest pub groups and restaurants in the UK. You will work with both branded and private label products and take full accountability and P&L responsibility for the division.

To be considered for this role you may be operating at either Senior NAM level or currently operating as a Controller. Experience across a range of foodservice channels is essential, as is an understanding of both branded and private label products. Whilst all the technical skills are important such as being commercially astute and having a proven record of delivering growth, cultural fit and personality are also key so you must be able to work in a fast paced, family feel environment.
