The Business

Our client form part of a multi £billion International food group producing products around the world across both brand and own label markets. The company has developed with the increasing demand for international variety and its appeal to a health conscious market.  They have offices located around the UK but are looking to expand their current marketing team within the Northern Greater London area.

The Role

The company are looking for an assistant brand manager to join their marketing team spanning both retail and OOH. Level of responsibility will vary dependent on experience but key responsibilities of the role will include cross functional project management, data analysis and traditional brand management. Within this will be involvement in packaging design changes and below the line campaign management, with accountability for website management and trade events. This role will include more analytical responsibility than typical junior brand management roles, as the management of data sources to ensure awareness of the UK markets will fall into the basic remit of this role.

The Individual

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years in an FMCG based marketing role, with a strong understanding of data tools such as IRI and Kantar and Nielsen. You will be enthusiastic, an excellent team player and comfortable communicating cross functionally and across all levels. Organisation and an ability to manage numerous projects at the same time is key.

The Opportunity

This will provide an excellent opportunity for someone from a more analytical marketing background to shift into a more traditional role whilst making the most of previous experience within a new role. There will also be a greater exposure to different sides of the business, as well as to the head of marketing, giving a great opportunity to build a brand from the bottom up with the support of an experienced marketer.
