Business Development Manager – On-Trade – Premium Spirits Company

The Client

My client, a renowned, Premium Spirit Company is looking to bring on a dynamic, innovative On-Trade drinks Business Development Manager in Glasgow.

The Role

You would be responsible for managing a number of assigned On-Trade pubs, bars, restaurants and clubs in a geographical area, in order to contribute to the delivery of budgeted revenue and profit targets. Developing and nurturing these customers across operations, marketing and commercial functions.

You will activate the company’s fantastic range of brands within your customer base using the company’s sales ways of working. Executing with excellence to influence consumers at the point of purchase.

The Right Person

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will be excellent with managing time, people and have a real passion for the On-Trade.

Experience-wise, you will have between 1-3 years of commercial experience in selling and/or marketing.

You will be a good listener and presenter, with P&L experience, and able to prioritise effectively with a real drive for results. You will be commercially astute, outgoing and work well under pressure.

With strong demonstrable selling and account management skills, you are able to build and implement strong effective long term customer action plans.
