JUNIOR National Account Manager – DIGITAL AND CONVENIENCE RETAIL CHANNELS
Excellent Basic Salary + Bonus + Car/Allowance + Benefits
South East based with flexibility
The New York Bakery Company brand is the market leader in UK bagels with great retail presence and an enviable reputation for category development and innovation. With a multi £bn international parent company behind us, substantial investment including a new £12.5m UK production facility and £3.0m of above the line marketing support, we’re primed for significant future growth.
We’re rolling out some exciting new products to support our established and popular bagel ranges and with online retail becoming a growth area for us alongside our traditional routes to market, we now have an exciting new position for an enthusiastic and energetic junior NAM.
This is an unusual position with responsibility for driving forward our presence with digital and online retailers as well taking on account management responsibilities for our Co-operative account.
Working as part of our Retail Channel Sales team this is a great developmental role with involvement in planning and implementing Joint Business Plans, understanding and driving promotional processes, developing your forecasting skills, taking part in key meetings, developing customer reports and playing an instrumental role in NPD projects.
Plus you’ll be our leading light in developing the increasingly important digital and online markets for us!
We’re looking for a bright, ambitious and inspiring individual with a background in FMCG/Retail business. You’ll currently be working at Junior NAM or Regional Account Executive level and looking to move into a fast paced environment while still being part of a larger multi-national business with the opportunities for development that this affords.
A sound working knowledge of brand or brand and own label is important and we’ll want to see evidence of good business training to date, a desire to succeed and confidence working with financial data and category-led insight.
Experience of digital is not essential but the ideal candidate will be expected to show an intelligent approach to the role with energy, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Career development prospects in this exciting and growing company are exceptional.
This role is based at the company’s offices near London Heathrow.
So, if you think you’re ready for the challenge, please send your CV and current remuneration details to our retained consultant, Mark Smith, mark@smithcarey.co.uk quoting the reference number MS/1799.
Closing date for applications: 3rd June 2016.
All direct and third part applications will be forwarded to SmithCarey.
