Our client lives and loves: events, food, drink and service… do you?

Our client is looking for an experienced Sales and Events manager to join their established, recognised and growing drinks business. During 2015 our client demonstrated and showed off its iconic brands at 15 food and drink shows across the UK, these included the BBC Good Food Show, Food and Drink Expo and the Ideal home Exhibition. During 2016 the plan is to increase this show presence to 25 which will consist of trade and consumer shows that fit well with their brands. The time is now right to add a sales and events manager to the already expanding team who can focus on delivering exceptional show presence to the trade and consumers…..

You will be responsible for managing the show diary, negotiating terms, creating stands and point of sale. Most importantly of all you will be the face of the business in front of the trade and consumers.  

The successful Sales and Events Manager:

  • A proven Events/show Planner with a love of food, drink, iconic venues and service
  • Ideally 1-2 years of experience in event planning and project management
  • Proven track record of creative development
  • Highly organised and well planned
  • Passionate about a career in events management
  • A track record of managing agencies or working with event suppliers
  • Commercial acumen with experience of budget responsibility
  • To add to our team dynamic you will want to have fun at work and have confidence in handling clients
  • You will be enthusiastic about our company and keen to spread the word of our offering to prospective clients
     

The client is open to candidates with field sales experience in the drinks industry looking to move into events management. This is a genuine opportunity to progress as our client is ever growing!

In return you will receive a base salary of up to £23,000 plus benefits.

You must be in a commutable distance to the Home Counties.
