They love developing food and always design it specifically for their market to ensure it's easy to distribute, a joy to serve and a pleasure to eat. The Role
As the successful National Account Manager, you will have full P&L responsibility of the existing local authority accounts in the north and Scotland. You will be responsible for developing new and existing business, recommending account strategies to maximise the sales and delivery margins from the accounts under your management. As the National Account Manager you will be expected to work closely with the National Sales Manager to grow business outside of education in this area within healthcare, leisure and restaurant chains at National account level.

The successful National Account Manager

  • Currently hold the position of National Account Executive, Key Account Manager, Customer Development Executive, National Account Manager, Customer Business Manager, Business Account Manager etc.
  • Have current experience of sales in a branded or own label food business
  • Will strive to learn about the sector and continually look for ways to innovate and grown sales
  • An ability to communicate effectively and build and maintain strong business relationships at all levels
  • Be able to manage, meet and exceed your customers expectations
  • Be self motivated and reliable
  • Ideally be degree educated or equivalent
     

    The ideal candidate should live in the north within a two hour drive to Shrewsbury.
     

In return you will receive a salary of £40,000 plus an attractive benefits package.
