The company is now looking to add a  success driven Senior National Account Manager to join their talented sales team.

As a Senior National Account Manager you will report directly to the Sales Director with responsibility for a  small team.   

You will primarily be accountable for the full P&L of specific accounts within the convenience and wholesale channels  such as Co-op, Nisa, Spar, Costcutter, Musgraves and One-Stop.

Key responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing JBP’s with customers to deliver the annual business strategy
  • Supporting and developing the Wholesale and Convenience team
  • Manage all day-to-day contact with customers with regular face-to-face meetings
  • Successfully managing all pricing and promotional activity in addition to new product launches
  • Regular volume forecasting, financial analysis and reporting to the Sales Director
  • Identifying new opportunities and analysing competitor activity
  • Be an expert on your customers within All About Food
  • Build strong customer relationships and work cross-functionally with other internal divisions such as Brand, Category, Supply  and Finance

The successful candidate will ideally possess a combination of buying and national account management experience, demonstrating strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the UK Grocery trade.

Experience within the convenience or wholesale channel would be advantageous  but experience gained as a Buyer or National Account Manager in other channels will also be considered.

You will have excellent communication  and influencing skills and will have a track record of delivering outstanding results.
