With 30 years’ experience within the Cosmetics and Personal Care industry, my client is a growing business that has ambitious plans to develop areas both in the UK and Internationally. Still a family run company that has grown to an impressive £18 million, they have continued to exceed their targets and have grown from £12 million in just 4 years. Although my client specialises in licensed products and designer brands, they also manufacture bespoke private label collections for a multitude of retailers and businesses. Heavily design focused, the business is constantly looking for the big next thing and look to create products consumers have a real need for. Heavily targeted towards the mass market, the business has acquired some of the most popular licensees in the market and continues to impress others. Due to their continued growth they are now seeking an experienced Senior Designer to join their team in the South West.

Creativity is absolutely central to this role, as you will be articulating the style and vision of the brand. Heavily team based, you will support the Creative Director in providing the creative ideas for the brand across both its private label functions and highly attractive designer brands. You will work alongside the product development teams in the development of seasonal collections and key product ranges, assessing the market trends and researching its competitors. You will monitor key fashions and beauty blogs in order to stay on top of the industry, creating inspiring products, packaging and design ideas. This is an insightful role and will require you to analyse data and use the findings to produce innovative design ideas for the consumer.

It is key you have a real interest in design-led products and having a creative flair is absolutely critical. It is desirable that you have worked in a similarly creative role and that you have a real passion for the industry, ideally coming with a portfolio of previous work.
