Sales Manager - Foodservice

With over 80 years of history, Kiril Mischeff is recognised as an established supplier of frozen foods, ambient goods, dried fruit, fruit juice concentrates, purees, meat, fish, seeds and pulses to UK food manufacturers and retailers. Due to recent successes and growth they are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join the Foodservice business to work with key UK customers and international suppliers.

Reporting to the Managing Director this new role will drive sales into the foodservice and retail industry leading the day to day trading with UK customers (Brakes, Bidvest etc) as well as international processing partners, negotiating at both ends of the supply chain to successfully win and execute contracts. The role will also spend time leading business development with new customers and processors keeping abreast of industry innovations and market dynamics. This position will also work closely with the Managing Director to evolve the Foodservice offering as well as play an important role in the development of a talented but inexperienced team.

The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of commercial sales management and trading experience in the Foodservice sector with current contacts within Bakes, Bidvest and other national foodservice customers. Candidates must be comfortable negotiating pricing and building new relationships across the supply chain working quickly with currencies and managing financial exposure in a tough trading environment. Previous sales or trading experience within the foodservice sector is a must but above all, candidates must show the drive, ambition and commercial skill set be successful in this position.
