We are now recruiting a National Sales Manager to lead the Contractor/Specifier Sales team and drive business growth within the contractor and specifier market.

As National Sales Manager you will lead and motivate a sales team to implement and activate of the Contractor and Specifier sector strategies. You will take responsibility for financial performance, setting sales objectives, meeting cash collection targets, managing costs and negotiating with customers. You will collaborate with colleagues to develop sector strategies as well as ensure effective implementation to increase sales and profitability. Important will be the ability to develop the capability of your team by ensuring they adopt a best practice approach and deliver excellent execution. You will also build strong customer relationships and gain an understanding of customer’s current & future needs and use that insight to identify key growth targets.

Of graduate calibre you will be an experienced sales team leader and able to demonstrate the ability to build high performing teams. Comfortable managing people remotely and on a national scale you excel at communicating goals and understand the importance of regular engagement with your people. You will have experience of designing and implementing sales plans and are good at forging relationships at all levels. You will also possess excellent communication and financial skills. Self-motivated, you are comfortable at prioritising your workload, effective at achieving targets and resilient in negotiations. A driving licence is essential.
