Graduate Food Technologist

This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Food Technologist to join an exciting brand based in Central London.

Our client is expanding rapidly and as a result are looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about the food industry to join their exciting team. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring all food products are of the highest quality and are in line with legal, regulatory and safety requirements.

Further responsibilities as a Graduate Food Technologist include:

• Completing new product specifications
• Assist with new product development via market research and analysis
• Keeping up to date with food legislation as well as customer and company standards
• Investigating customer complaints and identifying the root cause of product related problems
• Ensuring all quality standards are upheld
• Internal auditing and managing relationships with suppliers
• Tracking supplier performance

In order to be an outstanding Graduate Food Technologist:

• You must be passionate about food
• Food science or related degree
• Enjoys a challenge with great problem solving skills
• Good organisation skills - must be able to multi task
• Related food technical/quality experience - ideally a placement year while studying

This is a medium sized business so the ability to build relationships internally is essential, you will be in regular contact with other departments including Marketing, Product Development and Operations.
