The business are a newly established FinTech with a strong online presence within International Money Transfer.

Now looking to take this expertise offline to grow their network of retailers nationally to allow consumers to send money internationally quickly and safely, and typically for agents at a much cheaper rate than the big name players in this market.

Description

As an Area Sales Manager your main role will be to expand the network of agents in a designated territory, to present the Money Transfer Service as a business opportunity, to sign them up as agents and to have an understanding and appreciation of their requirements.

As an Area Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
  • You will be responsible for presenting to potential agents and managing the entire sales process from identifying prospects, cold calling, face to face meetings, conducting presentations and user demonstrations
  • You will be expected to spend a major part of your time (90% plus) out of the office recruiting new agents and developing existing ones in your territory.
  • You will be responsible for actively and successfully managing the sign-up, set-up and training process of agents; and for providing solutions when challenging matters arise.
  • You will provide the agents standard POS material on day to day basis, system and compliance training to reach the maximum potential from the location.
  • As a representative at events, you will act in a professional manner with the aim to gain new business leads and contacts
  • You will complete your report plan in full and email it to your manager in order to compare it against agreed targets. This will need to be ready to be reviewed by him/her every week.


Profile

The position is suitable for an individual with personal drive, influence and persuasion, strong interpersonal and organizational skills and self-management and target-oriented.

Experience needed:
  • Sales experience with top tier Money Transfer /Remittance companies would be ideal. You could also be selling other services into retailers such as: Merchant Services / Payment Acceptance, PayPoint, delivery solutions, mobile sim cards or other consumer products
  • Cold calling visits and experience working within field sales
  • Fluent English
  • Good to have: One language (Urdu/Hindi/Bengali/African/Polish/Turkish) Language and Good knowledge of targeted communities (Indian/Nigerian/African/Polish/Turks/Pakistani/Bengali).






Job Offer

£25-28,000 + OTE

Realistic earning potential year 1 - £70-£80k (fully uncapped)

All travel / expenses and a mobile phone / laptop will be provided.
