If you are a dynamic and entrepreneurial individual looking for an exciting new challenge working with iconic brands, this pivotal role as Impulse National Account Manager at one of the UK's leading blue chip food manufacturers is the ideal position for you.

Reporting to the Head of the Business Unit, this position offers an enticing opportunity for the successful candidate to make a significant impact on our client’s future, as well as greatly enhancing your career development and broadening your sales and marketing experience.

We are looking for an individual with outstanding commercial acumen and relationship-building skills to drive the launch of an exciting new business venture into the Impulse channel through Multi Site Retailers and smaller national accounts – exceeding the business plan turnover and profit targets as a result. You will also have ample scope to make a substantial impact by identifying the contacts to access new store locations, as well as demonstrating your ability to successfully market and manage ongoing customer relationships.

Your additional responsibilities include:

  • Securing distribution, space and activity plans for the proposition in key Impulse and Snacking
    locations in store
  • Negotiating commercial agreements focused on driving volume and turnover growth for the proposition
  • Identifying the appropriate supply chain solution to ensure product flows efficiently onto shelf
  • Tracking and monitoring progress against the plan, recommending corrective actions and strategic changes to ensure targets are met.

To secure this fantastic opportunity:

You will be an innovative individual with a compelling entrepreneurial flair and strong negotiation skills. You must have experience of working in blue chip FMCG Food businesses within the Impulse channel.

Plus, you will also have an impressive background building customer relationships at both at buyer and senior level, as well as possessing an excellent understanding of account management basics, such as forecasting and trade spend management.
