Senior Category Manager - Chilled Division

My client are a major supplier to the top tier retailers, leading the category within the chilled division. They have a strong leadership team and have invested heavily in innovation and improvements. They operate in a very fast moving sector and have placed huge importance in continuous improvement, NPD and Quality Management. They work in Own label goods and are committed to providing opportunities for personal and professional growth within the group.

We are currently supporting our client with a specific project to strengthen their category function. One of the positions we are currently recruiting for is Senior Category Manager facing into major top tier retailer.  

The key focus of this position will be the development and implementation of the Category Strategy to drive sales growth through strong existing customer relationships, as well as the potential expansion of the current customer product portfolio and category share.

The right person for this role will have a strong FMCG background and have an ambitious and progressive nature. Pre-requisites for the role are:

• Previous experience within a Category Manager / Senior Category Manager role within the food manufacturing industry.
• Customer experience and strong working relationships within one or more of the major retailers.
