An exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual has arisen within a large international alcoholic drinks business. This business is renowned for having a great variety of well-known brands across a multitude of categories. As a business with a national presence in both the On and Off Trade, they supply the world’s largest retailers and groups and also sell to small, independent restaurants and bars. They have impressive plans for growth, particularly within the On Trade and are consistently investing in their people and infrastructure in order to achieve their goals. They are now looking for a Regional Account Manager to take control of their On Trade Wholesale accounts in London.

As Regional Account Manager your primary task will be to take P&L responsibility for key London On Trade Wholesale accounts. These will include customers like Amathus, Bibendum and Venus as well as a number of smaller independent wholesalers. You will be responsible for driving increased volume and gross profit margins whilst working closely with the BDE team to increase rate of sale into the area’s On Trade outlets. You will also have accountability for a local marketing spend to implement across your customer base as you see fit. This is a field based role with travel involved so effective journey planning is a must.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you must have an in-depth knowledge of the London On Trade Wholesale sector. Drinks industry sales experience will be preferred but is not a necessity. It is essential that you have experience managing P&L and are capable of working autonomously. You must also be numerate and commercially astute.
