Trade Marketing Manager - Glasgow
Are you looking for a Trade Marketing Manager role? Do you want to work for one of the leading Wine & Spirits businesses in Scotland? Being one of Scotland's leading independent Wine & Spirits merchants for the last 70 years, this company isn't done growing, and they credit all of their success to the people who make up the business. Similar to the fast paced drinks industry, this company has evolved and changed over the years to deliver the best quality and value for the money that they can for their customers. They have an extensive drinks portfolio with a wine list they are truly proud of and they are looking for a Trade Marketing Manager to work across their brands.
As a Trade Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving the Promotional and Marketing strategy for the company. This will be achieved through the development, implementation and review of the business' promotional strategies in print and online. This will involve development of the company website, monitoring of marketing budgets, and development of the promotional calendar, organizing wine portfolio events and tastings, as well as facilitating product launches. The role will be supported by an Assistant Trade Marketing Manager, so it is a good opportunity to gain people management experience. They are looking for someone with a genuine love and knowledge of wine & spirits who will be able to get passionate about their brands.
As a successful candidate, you will have minimum 18 months of marketing experience, and a background in the alcoholic drinks industry is preferred but not required. The Trade Marketing Manager role is a key area for the progression and development for their business so they are looking for someone with a proven ability to deliver results. This is an office based role in Glasgow, however the company offers flexible working hours. If you have excellent communication skills coupled with a passion for wine, we're looking for you!
