A rapidly growing and ambitious online retailer is looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Manager who possesses experience in both product and brand marketing functions.

With their primary skill set being in offline (traditional) marketing operations, the successful candidate will possess a foundation knowledge of digital marketing and have the skills to implement a multi-channel marketing plan for the business.

Well organised and with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in running a marketing team, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing the in-house marketing department and will work closely with, and report directly to, the Sales & Marketing Director.

A highly analytical mind and excellent reporting/administration skills are a vital prerequisite of the role.

Duties:

• To help develop and manage a multi-channel marketing plan for the business
• To work closely with the buying team to ensure that the business is on trend with new products and innovations
• To assist in leading the brand forward through a varied set of marketing channels.
• To plan and coordinate product launches
• To monitor product performance
• To carry out market research and audience profiling
• To align the wider company around the brand values and proposition
• Manage budgets and create forecasts

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Excellent analytics and reporting skills
• A very high attention to detail
• A proven track record of working and succeeding in a fast paced and target driven environment
• Excellent staff management and communication skills
• The knowledge and self-confidence to effectively challenge, lead and innovate the marketing team
• A proactive, hands on approach to work and a willingness to go above and beyond what is expected
• Desirable Experience:
• TV advertising an advantage, but not essential
• Knowledge of trade (B2B) operations/marketing also advantageous
