A fantastic opportunity for a National Account Manager to manage, lead and guide a team towards developing the division in line with the corporate strategy and objectives.

This is a strategic role for an individual who can really drive a business forward by developing upon its existing success in a competitive market!

My client is a family owned organisation who have been established for many years, headquartered out of Essex.

With a real focus on customer service, they have gone from strength to strength in providing a consultative solution based on customers requirements.

Description

The primary responsibility for the National Account Manager will be to manage, develop and leverage existing relationships whilst identifying new sales opportunities both internationally and across the UK.

Further responsibilities include:-

  • Managing a team of three, continuing to motivate and develop them to help them achieve personal and professional goals.


  • Working with a number of internal stakeholders, from production and logistics to working with the MD and FD to ensure tenders and contracts are managed effectively and successfully.


  • Working with a number of various external stakeholders at various levels to maintain and develop strong relationships whilst driving any business opportunities.


  • Working closely with supply chain partners to support delivery of business objectives.


  • Travelling internationally periodically to develop international contracts.


  • Managing budgets and controlling margins adhering to delivery of budgeted volumes.




Profile

The successful National Account Manager will-

  • Have a strong track record in consultatively selling a technical product/service across the UK and internationally.
  • Possess strong leadership skills and be able to provide examples in successfully developing a team towards business objectives.
  • Be a self starter, strategic, commercially aware individual who can communicate effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Have strong analytical skills and identify opportunities and trends within their specific market.
  • Be able to commute daily to the head office Essex.
  • Be a strong influencer with exceptional customer service levels.
