Your role at Lily’s Kitchen: -

The role as a Senior Account Manager is instrumental in pushing our key accounts forward. You will be part of a sales team who are responsible for managing and developing core customer relationships to maximise sales and profitability. You are key in educating our partners, making them know we are the thought leaders and challengers in the pet food industry.
One of the key qualities as Senior Account Manager will be growing brand awareness and our key accounts as well as forming new partnerships through audacious actions. You will be such an instrumental force within Lily’s Kitchen and play a pivotal role in our sales strategy.

How will I make a difference?

You will: -
 Collaborate with the Head of Sales and marketing team to devise and implement our annual account plans for key accounts
 Produce accurate annual sales and demand forecast for your accounts
 Implement account plans and ensure annual budgets are achieved
 Drive forward, manage and develop retailer relationships, building Joint Business Plans that deliver profitable growth and work towards longer term agreements
 Drive profitable growth through new listings, increased distribution, new categories and better deals
 Establish Lily’s Kitchen as category thought leaders, challenger brand, by coordinating the internal cross functional team to lend our expertise through store trials, category management and imaginative solutions for growing the business
 Become ‘the expert’ on your customers, understanding their strategy and priorities and feeding your knowledge into our internal insights team
 Build strong and lasting relationships, carry out robust negotiations to ensure we achieve our objectives
 Provide regular feedback on account performance including the following metrics: sales/key initiatives/competitive activity
Full ownership and control of the sales budget
 Instrumental in building a happy, healthy sales team
 You are the face of Lily’s Kitchen. You are the brand ambassador for Lily’s Kitchen, whether that be in the market, at client meetings, client events and trade shows.

What will I need to be successful?


 It goes without saying that you need to have a PFP (passion for pets)
 An experienced Senior/National Account Management within an FMCG branded environment
 Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence others through your flexible style
 A first class communicator, with the ability to build trust authentically and communicate clearly, effectively, appropriately with other Lily’s Kitchen employees, external suppliers and others at all levels.
 First class project management skills and the tenacity to see projects through to the end
 Commercial is your middle name, you will be a natural commercial thinker
 Experience of building Joint Business Plans (JBPs)
 A degree or equivalent and a passion for National Account Management
 You will be top notch when it comes to numeracy and budget management skills. You can work out margins without using you best friend excel!
 You will have external and internal facing responsibilities and therefore the ability to multi task is key
 A natural at building genuine and authentic relationships skills – getting the best out of others to achieve the plan whether that be your immediate team or external suppliers
 The ability to use your initiative – being a self-starter with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and the desire to learn and grow.

 Its fast paced here at Lily’s Kitchen so you will need to have worked in a similar environment
 You will be comfortable with using Microsoft Office and in particular Excel (intermediate level)
