Your new role
This is a store management role reporting to the area manager. Your main objective is to achieve the highest sales possible in your store, whilst ensuring an efficient and co-operative working environment, excellent customer service, consistent store standards, minimal costs, optimum productivity, tightly controlled inventory and price change, strong due diligence and accurate accounts. Key responsibilities of this role will include authorising the duties of all employees in your store whilst consulting key members in your team such as Area Manager.

You will need key management experience as you will be looking after people and business performance. It is imperative that you take ownership and commitment extremely seriously whilst conducting a leadership style that is exciting and satisfying for your team. In return, you will be given a high level of responsibility and be supported by a fantastic training programme that is tailored to your needs. As Store Manager, it is vital that you will create an environment that gives your team a sense of satisfaction and pride in what they do resulting in fantastic results. This role is looking to attract individuals from a wide range of retail backgrounds, including supermarket, fast-food and clothing chains where you can demonstrate strong management experience with a strong ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced environment. It is important to recognise that this role is not for the faint hearted and will challenge you at all times, however the progression opportunities and the varied nature of work mean that the role is also very satisfying and rewarding.
