My client a non- food FMCG SME based in Witney, Oxfordshire are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their exciting, vibrant team.

My client are a market leading gifting business based in Oxfordshire. Through their brand they have created a range of exciting and quirky products across various categories including gifting, home decor and education. The business has a 50 year history, a great and growing brand reputation and is showing consistent revenue growth in this area. They are now looking to recruit an ambitious Account Manager to support their business plan.

My client are an exciting SME who will integrate you into their team. With a mix of office, field and home based work this role will enable you to develop within an exciting team but give you that flexibility to visit clients along with developing your portfolio from the comfort of your own home.

Alongside sales and managing customer accounts, you will be a key part of the product development team helping to tailor new products to suit the customer's that they have, or hope to have.

Description

The role of the Account Manager:
  • Assisting negotiations of pricing and promotional plans
  • Managing a section of the P&L
  • Supporting, implementing and monitoring Joint Business plans.
  • Monitoring competitor activity and market trends
  • Identifying growth opportunities and building customer relationships
  • Work closely with other members of the Sales team
  • Manage all elements of the sales process from development through to delivery, for specific national accounts.
  • Plan, organise and manage specific account sales to meet and surpass allocated sales and gross profit budgets


Profile

The successful Account Manager :

- Based in the Oxfordshire, Reading or Berkshire area

- Experience within gifting, education, stationary or FMCG

- Experience within National or Regional accounts

- Energetic, hungry candidate looking to develop

- Experience developing profitable accounts at a regional or national level.

- Experience selling into retail accounts.

- Have strong communication and negotiation skills.

- Be highly motivated with strong commercial awareness and the ability to use commercial knowledge to increase profit and business growth.

- As this is a development role ambition is essential
