Senior Shopper Marketing Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Shopper Marketing Manager to join our Category team, based at our Head Office in Maidenhead. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the Shopper team deliver commercial value to Allied Bakeries measured by improving return on investment (ROI) on all activities.

Key Accountabilities:
• To develop and implement the Shopper Marketing plan with key retail customers driving visibility and sales of our brands with improved ROI within agreed budget
• To lead the delivery of the Trade Press plan driving our share of voice in key trade titles
• To provide leadership on all Shopper Marketing work ensuring:◦The development & delivery of the Shopper Marketing plan
◦Alignment to marketing & brand plans
◦Alignment to customers’ corporate events (where appropriate)
◦Application of merchandising and shopper understanding
◦Building strong working relationships with the retailers whilst delivering the plan.

• To manage the Shopper Marketing budget & agencies
• Ensure the delivery of ROI improvement across all Shopper Marketing activity
• Leadership, management and development of the team.

Skills, qualifications and experience:
• Degree level education
• Previous experience in Shopper Marketing is essential
• FMCG experience is essential, preferably food industry, working with retailer and manufacturer brands
• Awareness and understanding of Nielsen/TNS/IRI data and other associated category sources
• Track record of building and managing positive relationships with external customers including agencies as well as internal customers
• Strong communication, project management, presentation skills and a high level of analytical skills is required
• People management experience is preferred
