Telephone Account Manager - Investec
This is the ideal opportunity for a candidate to demonstrate and develop their skills in a fast paced, specialist sector of the financial services industry.
The role is based in our Glasgow Head Office where you will be part of a team of Telephone Account Managers. You will be responsible for building and developing relationships with a panel of Financial Advisers through a mix of inbound and outbound calls.

Job Description
- Managing and developing a panel of accounts for your region in conjunction with your Regional Account Manager
- Building and maintaining an account contact strategy with your Regional manager to maximise sales opportunities within your region
- Conducting compliant sales calls to Financial Advisers ensuring all activities meet required compliance policies and legislation
- Develop, strengthen, and capitalise on relationships with Financial Advisors via promotion of Investec Structured products proposition
- Contribute to campaigns on new products and initiatives to maximise sales opportunities
Skills Required
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- Can operate to a clear strategic vision with the ability to prioritise
- Can work as both a team player on own initiative when required
- Previous experience of working to sales targets
- Knowledge of the regulatory framework as it applied and strong attention to detail on high quality business standards
- Knowledge of the Financial Services sector (in particular intermediated distribution) is an advantage.
You will be highly pro-active and motivated by targets and have excellent listening and targeted questioning skills.
Some previous experience of working in a telephony sales environment is desirable but not essential.
