The Business
This business has built its success on producing quality products and successful marketing. As a result they are experiencing a period of rapid growth. They are looking to expand their category team over the next 6-12 months and as such are in desperate need for an interim Category Manager to support them whilst they grow the team.
The Role
The role will encompass all that is typical from a category perspective; analysis of industry as well as internal data to assess not only the position of their own products but the category in general. Strategically, the role will require analysis of price points and effectiveness of promotions to ensure that the company is operating at its optimal market position.
The Person
The ideal applicant will have had a wealth of category management experience within a FMCG environment, preferably as an interim contractor. As this role is required urgently there will be a certain amount of flex on office time/ travel time required.
