We have an outstanding opportunity for a talented and entrepreneurial Buyer to become part of the team with this ambitious and expanding retailer. As part of this success, they are looking to strengthen the Buying Team by recruiting a talented retail buying professional to lead this key category.

Your new role
To purchase and deliver products on time that represents excellent value for money.
You will be purchasing new products/categories and manage existing products/categories to ensure the company offer is continuously updated in line with the latest market developments or offers something unique/innovative when compared to our competition and offers the best value, price, quality and availability for our customers. You will also deliver sales and margin growth to agreed business targets through agreed action plan and monitor/action against these.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to demonstrate an excellent understanding of your customers in this marketplace as you will have autonomy to make final decisions which will ultimately optimise sales and profit for the business. Being highly organised and able to manage many different tasks at any one time, whilst working to tight deadlines is an essential part of the role.
