Interim Category Marketing Manager

My client are a high-growth food manufacturing business that are at the beginning of an ambitious and exciting 3 year Private Equity backed growth plan. Based in the Midlands, they require a proactive and pioneering Interim Category Marketing Manager that is capable of executing intelligent strategies to kick-start this aggressive growth plan. FTC of approximately 4 - 6 months.

You will be responsible for generating product strategy for both Branded and Own-label divisions of the business and will be required to execute the customer marketing strategy to match this. To deliver successful customer marketing, you will need to be capable of creating actionable plans through utilising data from Kantar, Nielsen and IRI platforms.

The nature and the growth plans of the business require you to have experience in working with the Top 6 Major Food Multiples creating and executing successful category plans.

If so, you will have:

• A Degree qualification, preferably Marketing
• CIM qualification is desirable
• Classic blue-chip exposure - potentially through graduate training - however, must be comfortable with pioneering the processes rather than following
• Strong numerical skills
• An unquestionable commercial awareness
• A background in either Category, Insight or General Marketing in the Food & Drinks industry
