A fantastic opportunity has come up for an determined National Account Manager to join a blue-chip ambient food business managing accounts within the convenience channel.

Our client is one of the UK's leading food manufacturers with a well-recognisable branded portfolio and wider business internationally. With a strong presence across all major UK retailers, they have demonstrated a commitment to delivering innovative products to market. The business prides itself on a set of new, positive values which not only guideline they way of working but are now strongly imbedded into their culture.

As a National Account Manager you will have full P&L responsibility for Nisa. Reporting into the National Account Controller, you will be accountable for creating JBP's, maintaining the overall business strategy and negotiating all pricing & promotion activities. You will work cross-functionally with other internal divisions such as Brand, Category and Technical in order to implement exciting NPD. You will possess a strong commercial acumen and understand the challenges with route to market.

Ideally, our client is looking for a forward thinking and pro-active FMCG professional with a background in a similar branded food business. You will have experience with p&l management of convenience/impulse/ discounter channels. You will have the capability to make decisions autonomously in a challenging and fast paced environment. You will enjoy a 'can do' approach with a demonstrable track record of delivering results and exceeding sales targets.



You must be highly flexible with regular travel to head office in the south and customer in the North/Midlands.
