Account Controller – Kraft Heinz

Due to an exciting new partnership with Kraft Heinz, ShopSmart Agency is currently recruiting for an exceptional Account Controller, who will be responsible for delivering a first class programme of Field Marketing activity. 

This position holds a high level of autonomy and responsibility for the success of the brand portfolio in the Grocery, Wholesale and Convenience channels.

We are looking for someone that has the ability to develop and deliver winning field sales strategies, nurture strong senior relationships and lead a national field team to success.

 The Role: 

  • To deliver joint business growth through identifying our client’s core objectives and building commercial solutions aligned to their strategic priorities
  • Make recommendations on improving and developing current Channel Strategy based upon new opportunities, client needs or and performance 
  • Develop existing and new contact strategy at Senior Manager level
  • Build excellent working relationships with key client stakeholders to ensure a successful and progressive programme of activity
  • Review current performance measures and identify improvement to existing service, new service or productivity gains and ROI benefits
  • Develop/agree contract and SLA’s
  • Agree key areas of performance and measurement with client and build supporting budget to fully fund plan
  • Responsible for the field team, build roles, structure and responsibilities to support service. Recruit against profiles agreed
  • Create a robust ROI model aligned to the programme objectives and SLA
  • Share key ‘market/channel/fascia’ and financial data to identify cause and effect’ financial benefits of contact strategy to enable required structure to be demonstrably measured
  • Develop and agree KPI’s to deliver client objectives
  • Identify key data and analysis to drive activity plan to achieve KPI’s/ROI. Ensure continuous evaluation of insight to course correct if necessary
  • Create Pilot’s and trial initiatives to grow sales/ROI and gain alignment through contact
  • Management of the programme budget

The person we are looking for:

  • You will have demonstrable National Accounts/Account Management/Account Controller experience including direct client handling and field management in a Retail, Field Sales or Field Marketing environment
  • You will have a thorough understanding of the UK Grocery, Wholesale & Convenience channel
  • You will have experience in managing a multi-channel field structure including territory sales teams, field managers and sales managers
  • You will be experienced in producing and driving strategies within the channel that will achieve our KPIs and deliver ROI
  • You will be an excellent communicator with first class; man-management, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Above all you will have the drive and ambition to deliver a first class service to our client
