Business Development Manager - Academic Journals

The Company: Our client is a global publisher linking research and practice on behalf of students, lecturers and university buyers across the UK. Founded in 1967, this forward thinking company today manages a range of digital products, a portfolio of nearly 300 journals, more than 2,500 books and over 450 teaching cases. All of this information is made available to higher education and further education colleges for a reasonable fee.The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing existing relationships and developing new business relationships across the North West and Yorkshire region.

The Person: The ideal candidate will be a truly consultative seller with a structured and relaxed approach to doing business. You will have a background in any business to business service led environment therefore what you have sold is not particularly important. You will be immaculately presented and have strong IT skills.

£32,000 Basic Salary
£50,000 OTE
Company Car + Fuel Card + Pension
