Summary:

The LG Team Leader role is to take ownership of a specific geographical territory of Sales Ambassadors to direct, support, monitor, develop and motivate the team on LG Home Appliances ensuring that all individuals are working effectively, delivering and driving the desired results for LG.

Territory covers Northern England with an addition of St Austell.

Key responsibilities as a Team Leader:

Results:

  • To lead by example, establishing a professional working relationship with Ambassadors which inspires and motivates individuals to drive results 
  • To partake in a Saturday morning briefings from your Project Manager, ensuring that key messages and focuses are then communicated effectively through to every Sales Ambassador within your given territory prior to them visiting their store each weekend 
  • To ensure store coverage within given region is at its optimum each weekend through close management of holiday and team absence, contacting bank staff to manage any absences ahead or during the weekend  
  • To translate weekly focuses into results in the field, monitoring sales and activity of the team throughout the weekend, taking appropriate action to quickly realign behaviors which drive sales and focus objectives
  • To monitor the development of individuals, reviewing the weekly sales performance data to identify sales performance by Sales Ambassador taking appropriate action to drive sales with poor performers whilst recognising and motivating strong performers 

Leadership:

  • To co-ordinate an efficient and structured journey plan which ensures each Sales Ambassador is visited in store at least once every six weeks, with more frequent visits where territory and team size allows
  • To visit Sales Ambassadors in-store ensuring core competencies are being met, store management are satisfied with the Ambassador’s performance and a review of individual performance and development areas are addressed to motivate, inspire and maximise sales   
  • To maintain good product knowledge and sales skills which can assist you in your ability to lead by example and drive standards and innovation in store  

Team Work

  • To share best practice and ideas with your Project Manager and/or direct with other Team Leaders which supports the overall objectives of the project   
  • To attend Team Leader meetings and training as and when required by RMG/ LG

Reporting

  • To ensure Sales Ambassadors submit a daily Pulse report, auditing and reviewing the data to ensure accuracy and validity approving reports once satisfied to ensure all reports for all Ambassadors within your given territory are on and approved by 8pm each Sunday
  • To complete an accompaniment report for each Ambassador visited (via Pulse) on the day of the visit, uploading supporting images for each submission  
  • To complete the weekend wrap up report and submit to your Project Manager by 8pm each Sunday with detailed feedback concerning each store within your territory to include; wins, barriers, opportunities and actions to give your Project Manager clear visibility of each stores status and development plan
  • To complete any other ad hoc reporting which may be requested of you in line with deadlines set

House Keeping

  • To assist the Project Manager where necessary in dealing with HR matters including new starters, leavers, sickness and performance management
  • To maintain strict and accurate personal expenses and mileage claims in accordance with company procedures and policies
  • To adhere to all RMG policies and procedures with guidance from Project Manager as appropriate
  • To become involved in anything else deemed necessary by the company and client
