A major food centred manufacturer based in the South West is looking to expand its trade marketing team in order to capitalise on organic growth. This household name has a rich heritage in supplying well known branded products. Utilising the power of their brand and their knowledge of their category they have forged strong strategic alliances with the UK’s major retailers.

The Opportunity

Working closely with key retailers this role will see you analysing a variety of industry data to assist in the assessment of the category as a whole. Utilising Trade Marketing data you will help to contribute towards a category strategy to further grow and develop the category. The role will be fast paced and ever changing, being a quick learner who can adapt easily is essential.

The Individual

The successful candidate will have prior exposure to industry data standards such as Kantar, Nielson, IRI or retailer specific data. Previous experience within a Trade Marketing environment would also be beneficial. Being numbers oriented yet able to interface with people is essential as this role will work closely with some of the UK’s largest retailers. Drive and commitment is also key in this fast moving sector.
