Our client is a new and upcoming manufacturer within the snacking and confectionery sector, supplying a variety of products into both retail and foodservice channels across the UK. As a creative, dynamic and vibrant company, they look to create products that will cater to a younger audience. Having developed a fast-paced, highly commercial approach, the business strives ahead of their competitors and drives growth within their categories. With a people-focused and progressive culture, our client are looking for a new National Account Manager to assist in maintaining the company's success.

This National Account Manager role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing accounts across the grocery channel, as well as providing the opportunity to find new business. It is essential to encompass the skills to influence customers and build great, long-lasting relationships in order to maintain product listings and grow existing accounts. Key responsibilities will include creating JBPs, promotional planning, full P&L responsibility and forecasting. Although office-based, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to travel across the border to meet with customers on a regular basis and will have the flexibility to be out on the field building relationships with potential new business accounts.

Our client are looking for an ambitious new member to join their team who will relish the opportunity to manage a portfolio of grocery accounts and feel passionate about this specific category. It is beneficial to understand the nature of either a snacking or confectionery business in order to build and maintain effective relationships with existing clients. Within the role, communication is also key and our client is looking for someone with customer-facing experience within the FMCG sector. Previously P&L responsibility is required.
