The role:

The key purpose of this role is to enable delivery of brand strategies in the Off Trade, particularly Grocery, and develop a channel specific Customer Marketing strategy in line with brand plans, which will deliver commercial goals. Additionally the role will require you to identify major channel/category initiatives that will drive additional channel performance.

The Customer Marketing function facilitates the flow of information between the Commercial and Marketing teams in order to deliver against the Company’s brand and commercial objectives. The teams are responsible for the development and execution of Customer Marketing activity with customers. The function incorporates specialist teams in Off Trade Spirits, On Trade Spirits and Off and On Trade Champagne.

For this role we require customer/trade marketing and commercial skills. In addition candidates will demonstrate a keen understanding of the Off-trade/Grocery sectors. Strong team management skills are important together with an ability to influence internal and external stakeholders. Candidates will also demonstrate high levels of gravitas,creativity,analytical, organisational and planning skills in order to deliver robust and profitable strategies for the business.
