Overview

The On Trade Customer Marketing team have a Customer Marketing Manager role available on a permanent basis, this is a brilliant opportunity to be a key contributor to the development and execution of our marketing plans in the UK; we want to ensure that MCBC are first choice for customers by delighting beer & cider drinkers with plans that engage and excite.

The role will be responsible for some of our ON Trade Customer group and ensuring MCBC is the first choice for these customers and their consumers.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Developing a detailed understanding of the needs of the customers with regards to customer strategy, outlet type, consumer profiles/behaviours, customer marketing activity and margin requirements.
  • You will work with the Category Management team to develop consistent & compelling Category selling stories for our key customers
  • To understand the Brand ambition and plans and match Brand opportunities with Customers and Outlets, in the planning, activation and evaluation of below the line brand, customer and consumer initiatives with brand on point responsibility
  • Create and develop supporting tools for the field sales & account management team and work closely with the operations team to facilitate brand activity in the sales channel.
  • Developing relationships with our BTL strategic agencies and our brand teams, turning brand strategies into customer specific plans that can be executed brilliantly
  • Working closely with the sales account management teams, presenting the customer activity plans and influencing and leading the sales team.
  • Working closely with your customer base, you will be delivering brand presentations at head office level whilst developing your customer relationships.
  • Defining evaluation metrics against key brand campaigns and incorporate the learning’s into improving the effectiveness and financial performance of future activity

For this role we are looking for someone who has experience of working in any of the following: customer/shopper marketing, category or sales.  You will have experience of working alongside a multi- functional sales team whilst delivering brand share growth in a national customer base.
