Job Details

Our client is a £500m + Own label food producer with lead supply status across many chilled food categories. With strong backing and an impressive last three years performance they lead the market for innovation and supply having invested significantly in their structures and people resulting in some very high profile business wins. 

The business is now looking to appoint a first class Account Manager for Sainsbury’s who is capable of handling a large and significant customer. You will operate across multiple UK sites and report to National Account Controller. Operating across 3 categories you will managing the customer agenda, relationship and drive all innovation with the retailer.

The person

  • At least 3 years grocery account management experience and a strong knowledge of joint business planning within a food manufacturing environment.  JS experience and knowledge is a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent planning and communication skills.
  • Exceptionally strong customer and relationship development skills.
  • An excellent knowledge of category management and NPD process.
  • Some experience of working within chilled foods sectors
  • Strong team working skills
  • A strong desire and potential to develop further.
