National Account Manager/Junior NAM – Added Value Chilled Foods

£40-45,000 Basic, Bonus, Car Allowance + Benefits

Our Client produce and supply a range of vegetable products to major Retail accounts.

A vacancy has arisen within their added value division for a National Account Manager to manage and develop the Tesco account.

Candidates need some kind of top four exposure ( or some other decent retailer such as Coop, Waitrose or M & S would be fine ). They should have a working knowledge of NAM type disciplines such as Insight data, P & L, JBPs, Category Management, Data Manipulation, Food technical matters etc. The closer they are to being a full blown NAM the better.

Our Client is happy to consider energetic and ambitious National Account Executives looking for and ready for their first NAM role. 

This is really an excellent opportunity for somebody currently working at NAE level or Junior NAM level and wanting to step up to be a fully fledged NAM.

Candidates can be from any food category, any temperature ( chilled might be a slight advantage ). They do however want somebody who is passionate about food.

Candidates can be from either a branded or an own label background for this position but there is a preference towards Own Label people.

The jobholder will liaise with the NPD team so some experience of doing so already, along with an understanding of NPD processes and issues would be a bonus

Remuneration – £40k to £45k basic, plus discretionary bonus ( circa 10% ). There is a car allowance as well, by individual negotiation, but very much in line with salary / market conditions

Candidates must live within commutable distance of our Client’s Head Office in the East Midlands region.
