The Client

Our client is one of those few companies genuinely leading their sector of fresh food. Their growth in turnover, profit, products and facilities is the envy of the industry and to maintain their position as trusted partner to businesses in the major retail and food service sectors they are looking to recruit a dynamic NPD Manager.

The Role

In this new role the NPD Manager will be the critical link between customers, commercial, technical and operations, leading a team and taking responsibility for the entire product development pipeline from concept to delivery. As well as managing existing projects you and your team have the opportunity to develop the ideas, processes and strategy to take this business forward and ensure they stay one step ahead of the competition. You will present to the retail buying teams, highlighting current trends based on consumer research and work closely with the factory teams to bring your ideas to life and onto supermarket shelves.

The Candidate

Given the scope of this role you must be confident with all aspects of the development process and hold a degree in food science or a related subject. You will have a great track record of successful NPD & EPD launches and demonstrate excellent project management experience within fresh food or food manufacturing sector. Above all you will be confident in a customer facing capacity and have a passion for delivering results.
